I’ve not posted anything in 8 years – exactly! Today is the 255th anniversary of Horton’s birth. I’ve had some some distractions – taking care of aging parents, a move, and my husband’s retirement. Through all of this, I have reserved small blocks of time to write about Horton Howard, his wives and children. Recently, I’ve started to schedule time on my calendar for writing so that I can finish Horton’s story and make progress on telling about his daughters, Mary and Sarah and their children. The introduction and first three chapters of Horton’s story are (I hope) in final draft and under review by my husband before I send them to a few other readers for review. I’ll be making more regular updates here as I progress.
